Knightbane

In a kingdom where magic is feared and the past refuses to stay buried, Xan Banneret, the exiled knight once called Knightbane, is hiding under the name Bane. Then a shape-shifting assassin begins leaving a trail of bodies across his quiet corner of the realm.

What starts as the search for a missing guard in a sleepy frontier town pulls Bane back into the world he abandoned: a doppelganger, a centuries-old mage trapped between worlds, a dragon with an axe to grind, and a princess who never stopped looking for him.

What happens when the life you ran away from is the one you always wanted?

Tears of the Dragon

When a bookish young woman is taken from her English manor into a small hamlet beneath unfamiliar stars, she uncovers a dragon-made magic fueled by tears, and realizes she might be the missing piece in a war capable of destroying both worlds.

“If you have tears, prepare to shed them now.” — Julius Caesar

About

I started writing to create exciting new worlds that lived only in my imagination. In 1989, a D&D session changed my life, and I've carried the idea of a story with me ever since. After decades of daydreaming, it took COVID for me to finally write it down so I could share it. From there, who knows what worlds remain in this head of mine.

When I'm not writing, I build iPhone apps, oversee a software development department, and tinker with too many computers, mostly so I can game. Sadly, it is hard to find a local D&D group to further my adventures with pen and paper, so now I am trying to make up my own with these books.
